Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network therapist and do not currently accept insurance. Upon request, I can provide a superbill (receipt) to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. It is important to note that most insurance companies do not cover the cost of relationship or family therapy, but they may cover the cost of individual therapy for a diagnosed mental health condition. Please confirm with your insurance company directly regarding your out-of-network mental health benefits using the information below. It is also important to ask if they will reimburse for a provider with an LMFTA license.
Individual Therapy: “Is the CPT code 90837 covered under my plan for an out of network provider with an LMFTA license?”
Relationship Therapy: "Is the CPT code 90847 with an ICD-10 diagnostic code of Z63 covered under my plan where the therapist holds an LMFTA license and the relationship is the client, not an individual within the relationship?”
Do you offer in-person therapy in Seattle?
I offer in-person sessions in the Fremont Space building on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in Seattle, WA. I also offer telehealth sessions throughout the week.
How do I get started?
To get started, request a free 20-minute video consultation. During the consultation, we’ll learn more about each other and I’ll do my best to answer any questions you may have about me, the therapeutic process, and what to expect. I highly value client agency and empowerment and I want you to choose me - if it doesn’t feel like I’m your therapist, that’s okay! It would be my honor to help you find another provider who can support you and I will be happy to provide you with referrals.
If we mutually decide it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule an intake session and I’ll send over paperwork so we can get started.
